Coach Sherrill and the 12thMKOT players are honored to “Make a Wish” for our Honorary 12thMKOT friends.

2010: Mindy Lanoux ’96 was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic melanoma in 2009. She is married with three children and living in San Antonio where she had to recently stop teaching due to her health. We were extremely blessed to honor Mindy and her family at our annual scholarship dinner in November. Mindy and her family were treated to a fantastic Aggie weekend. They were able to attend the dinner, get a  tour of the facilites, tailgate for a bit and watch the game from the President’s box! Please continue to pray for her healing of this cancer.

2009: Bryan Chandler has lived his life with cystic fybrosis. He said he spent one of his best weekend’s ever  in Aggieland for the Baylor game and to this day continues to talk about it! Bryan, his mom, and Aunt Linda (both Aggies) had lunch w/Coach Sherrill, Tom Bevans and Robert Crouch. Coach Sherrill then took Bryan for a tour of Reed Arena meeting the women’s basketball team and watching practice. Coach Turgeon stopped by with tickets to that night’s game. They saw the football facilities and he was over excited to see some of his favorite players. They went to the basketball game and midnight yell. The day of the game was not perfect weather but Bryan got to do a few yell’s with Coach on the field before the game. Thank you to our friend in The Zone for letting Bryan and his family watch the game from their suite. Bryan continues to fight the good fight everyday while battling this disease.
